Black Sheep Gathering is coming up at the end of next week so it’s time to halter break lambs. A few friends came to help.
The lambs behaved fairly well for their first time on halters.
Bottle-baby Nellie had other ideas.
She was a true drama queen. Halter breaking-Day 2 is today.

Yeah, Tina, it was a lot like that! By the way, she did much better today on day #2 – only laid down once. The rest of the time she walked pretty well – with a moderate amount of “baa-ing”.
I’ll take a lamb that jumps around like crazy over one that just flops down any day!
