It sure looks and feels like spring today.
Twenty ewes have lambed so far with 38 lambs. Only about one third of those are rams.
A few days ago I took photos of lambs for the website before putting the ewes and lambs into group pens. Do you think Rusty showed restraint?

I was wondering why you only has 1/3 rams, is that common in the natural herd?
Now I’m at about 40% rams. I have friends whose flocks have produced 8 rams/2 ewes and 12 rams/2 ewes so I think that in the overall world of sheep or over the course of several years it probably ends up 50:50.
