remember challis?–a favorite fabric of mine made of wool and very
comfortable to wear in hot humid climes. mom used to sew a lot and used linen, chintz and pretty prints of wool challis. i recall hand-sewing of thin wool challis for my only daughter when she was born one of those little ribbon-trimmed “coatlet” (don’t remember the term right now). pretty pretty pretty. i guess challis it hard to make, as
opposed to yarn for weaving and knitting. anyway, you mention hot weather and see what it does to me?!
So who’s going to make them all little sunglasses?
