First lambs were born yesterday morning–triplets to Meridian Dot. These are 2 ewes and a ram. A single ram was born in the afternoon and this morning there were twins. I have about 8 more due this week!

Three? Just three? There’s a woman here in CA who had EIGHT babies! Your ewes are slackers. Harumph! ; )
At least the ewes aren’t asking for handouts from anyone other than me, and we already had an arrangement about that!

They are very cute. I had my first lambs Monday, twin ewes not triplets. I’m glad you post them on your blog so we can see them. Hope your hand/arm is doing well…
Hopefully the cast will come off next week. Then, even though I don’t think I’ll be able to use it a lot at first, at least I won’t have to worry about sliming it by dealing with baby lambs, iodine, etc.
